“Y mientras conservaba la chispa de heroísmo que acababa de encenderse en su ánimo， se dio cuenta de que， si podía imaginarse salvando a otros， era porque ya se había salvado a sí mismo”。 4。5★He disfrutado de este final de saga como un niño pero no estaba/estoy preparado para decir adiós a estos personajes y a esta historia que me ha encantado de principio a fin。 Ha sido mágico。No entiendo las críticas negativas que mucha gente hace a El rey cuervo como conclusión de tetralogía porque para m “Y mientras conservaba la chispa de heroísmo que acababa de encenderse en su ánimo， se dio cuenta de que， si podía imaginarse salvando a otros， era porque ya se había salvado a sí mismo”。 4。5★He disfrutado de este final de saga como un niño pero no estaba/estoy preparado para decir adiós a estos personajes y a esta historia que me ha encantado de principio a fin。 Ha sido mágico。No entiendo las críticas negativas que mucha gente hace a El rey cuervo como conclusión de tetralogía porque para mí es un final magnífico y el mejor libro de la saga junto a El tercer durmiente con diferencia。No exagero si digo que Maggie Stiefvater ha creado mi grupo de protagonistas favoritos en la historia de la literatura: Richard Dick Campbell Gansey III， Ronan Lynch， Adam Parrish y Blue Sargent se quedarán siempre conmigo。Es indescriptible lo bien que me han hecho sentir cada vez que leía cualquier cosa sobre ellos。 Las interacciones entre todos ellos siguen siendo exquisitas， naturales y nada forzadas， con la culminación de esa nueva relación para hacerlo ya todo perfecto。 “Sus sentimientos por Adam era como un vertido de petróleo: había dejado que se derramaran， y ahora no había ni un rincón del océano que no corriera peligro de incendiarse si le acercaba una cerilla”。 Si tuviera que destacar lo mejor de esta cuarta parte， sin duda sería la ambientación más oscura que Maggie Stiefvater logra con su prosa。En muchos momentos no entendía lo que estaba pasando pero es algo ya característico de esta saga， ese toque “random” que tiene de manera general me chifla porque la hace única y especial。 Pienso que Maggie Stiefvater ha conseguido algo muy complicado en fantasía juvenil y es el equilibrio perfecto de todos los elementos que， en mi opinión， hacen a una saga memorable: personajes perfectamente construidos， prosa sobresaliente， originalidad en la trama， cantidad suficiente de misterio/aventuras y un mínimo toque de romance。Ya echo de menos a los Raven Boys。 “La palabra real le resultaba menos útil cada día que pasaba”。 。。。more

I have such mixed feelings about this book。 I loved it but I hated （parts of） it。 I was thrilled but I was disappointed。 I think I can say with certainty that it was anticlimatic。 Past three books were great and this book had it moments too but I felt that there were too many unanswered questions and loose ends left to make it a satisfying end。 Likes: - Friendship。 This series is all about that and it was beautiful。 I especially loved Ronan and Gansey's relationship。 - Great characters。 I loved I have such mixed feelings about this book。 I loved it but I hated （parts of） it。 I was thrilled but I was disappointed。 I think I can say with certainty that it was anticlimatic。 Past three books were great and this book had it moments too but I felt that there were too many unanswered questions and loose ends left to make it a satisfying end。 Likes: - Friendship。 This series is all about that and it was beautiful。 I especially loved Ronan and Gansey's relationship。 - Great characters。 I loved how well Maggie wrote the main characters。 Ronan was my favorite character in this book。 IMO， he was the most complex， wholesome character that Maggie Stiefvater wrote in this series。 Not surprised he is getting his own spin-off。 ** Spoilers ahead **Dislikes: - The whole deal about Gansey and his search for Glendower and his magic turned out to be nothing。 Turned out he was dead this whole time and Noah was the one who whispered the Glendower bits to Gansey when he was dying the first time。 I guess the intention for Glendower search was to help Gansey find himself， find love and friendship。 That would have been okay， however， it didn't explain so many magical elements in past such as ravens leading Gansey to Glendower's grave， the grave revealing its opening on Gansey's command， the teens raising animals from the bones in the other cave， blue's dream where she is keeping Gansey safe like her tree people kept Glendower safe etc。 There was too many references for Gansey's magical ability and perhaps him being Glendower himself to accept that it was all for nothing and he was just a normal teen。 - Gansey's impending death was the topic of interest from the very beginning of the series and the whole scene of his death and revival left too much to be desired。 BTW， It was strange how easily the group decided that they should just sacrifice Gansey to kill the demon lol。 Then Cabeswater saved Gansey by sacrificing itself。 Cabeswater， which was just once of Ronan's dream creation and which is already being replaced by something better by Ronan。 I guess I was already let down when this all powerful， mystical and magical Cabeswater was revealed to be just one of Ronan's dream creation。 - Too many loose ends。 Too many secondary characters and scenes that ended up not being relevant。 Blue's hertiage and her perhaps not being human， Gwenllian's role， Orphan Girl's role， Artemus reason for leaving and his association with Glendower， Noah's decision to stay as if he had some role to play in the end。 Turned out he didn't and he got no mention or send off given that he was part of the main Raven boys gang。 。。。more
